LOCAL DELIVERIES
We hand deliver ourselves to South Tyneside, Washington, Sunderland as well as parts of Gateshead and Co. Durham so to qualify for local delivery you must have a delivery address in one of the post code prefix's in the below information.
As of April 2024 we have reviewed the success (or lack of) of the post codes we added in January 2024 (NE4, NE5, NE41, NE42, DH1, DH6, DH9 and SR8) and we have decided to scale back to our original pre January 2024 post codes so we will be no longer covering the above 8 areas in our local drops but they will remain to be covered via our courier option with DHL.
In addition to this we have decided to go back to including all local post codes in our weekly run. See updated info below.
Delivery Pattern
Weekly deliveries will take place to all local post codes below;
Sunderland South and Durham North
DH2, DH3, DH4 and DH5
South Tyneside, Jarrow, Hebburn, Gateshead and Washington
NE8, NE9, NE10, NE11, NE15, NE16, NE21, NE31, NE32, NE33, NE34, NE35, NE36, NE37, NE38, NE39 and NE40
Sunderland North & Central, and Seaham
SR1, SR2, SR3, SR4, SR5, SR6 and SR7
If you are a few streets or a small distance outside of our local coverage please get in touch and we'll work something out!
Delivery Cost
In the main most areas still fall within our usual free over £30 but we have moved some post codes into a higher threshold basically meaning that the further we travel the more the free delivery threshold will be. The list and map below shows how this will work and the website is now geared so that once you enter your post code and details it will tell you what your delivery cost (if any) would be. ALL post codes the delivery cost for NOT hitting the free threshold is £6.

Delivery Evenings
We deliver between 5pm and 9pm on Thursday (usually but this may occasionally be Friday evenings - this is to fit around our other work and family life and will be on the top of the shop page on the website a couple of weeks in advance). Make sure you check the shop / cart page for details of weekly local drop offs). Orders must be made by 23:59 on the day before scheduled delivery day to be included in that next delivery. I.e. Wednesday 23:59 to get on Thursday nights delivery.
Delivery night may change on a weekly basis but if you've ordered we'll be in touch to make other arrangements.
Flexibility
Although the days are fixed, if you'd prefer a certain time (within our usual delivery times) we can try our best to meet those requirements.
We will be as flexible as possible with regards post codes too so if you live a street outside of our range.
PLEASE REMEMBER - If you order please make sure you are in on the night of delivery, OR if you aren't in make sure that someone aged 18 or over is able to receive the delivery for you. We will challenge 25. If you aren't in, we'll take your delivery home with us and contact you to let you know. We cannot leave it in a "safe place" for you, it is not worth losing our licence and this is part of our licence conditions.
